My beautiful and loyal steed, Georgia May, has taken what will most likely be her last ride this month. After about two years of touring, my Ford is ready to call it quits. That being said, I haven't been able to travel as much as I would like to this month. And that bites.
To raise funds for a new touring vessel, I added a few new things to the merch shop. In the spirit of all things DIY, you can now have handmade Max Candles. (Scented with essential oils!) There are also adorable coasters in the merch shop as well! Click here to buy shit.
When I loaded in my gear, an incredible jazz quintet was performing. HD Quintet consists of drums, bass, guitar, trumpet, bass and FLUTE. The flutists also doubled as the group's lead vocalist. She did a beautiful rendition on "Skylark." The band also played a great rendition of "Night In Tunisia," which will forever stand as my favorite jazz tune.
After a glass of delicious well whiskey I performed an hour set WHICH YOU CAN CHECK OUT HERE. A wonderful group, LIVAMP, filmed the show and posted it in its entirety on their website.
My good friend Caitlin Shea took some great photos from the show. To see more of her work, click here.
I had an awesome time in the city and will be returning on March 25 to perform at Rockwood Music Hall at 7pm!
